April 2, 2010 Burkina Faso Seminars on business opportunities
    • November 10th to November 28th 2009: During 19 days, Taiwan Africa Industry Development Association (TAIDA), Africa Taiwan Economic Forum (ATEF) and the Chinese International Economic Cooperation jointly organized the “2009 R.O.C Trade and Investment Delegation” to Gambia, Senegal, Burkina Faso and Ghana. The four countries signed the MOU, and held face to face business talks. They also get involved in international trade shows in 2009.
    • January 1rst 2010: The Chairman of TAIDA Mr. Hung, the Vice-Chairman Mr. Huang, the Secretary-General Mr. Lin met with the Secretary-General of International Cooperation and Development Cooperation (ICDF) Mr. Tao for a business cooperation meeting.
    • January 3th, 2010: General Assembly of TAIDA. Ministry of Foreign Affairs Permanent Secretary: Mr. Lin, Director Mr. Chen, Ambassadors of Foreign Countries in Taiwan, International Trade Institute, Bureau of Foreign Trade, Small and Medium Enterprises Administration of Ministry of Economic Affairs, National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, Chinese National Federation of Industries, Government of the Republic of China, the Chinese International Economic Cooperation and many industrial associations, the President Mr. Chi Cheng, the President Mr. Chao, the Chairman Mr. Lin and many other dignitaries, as well as many warm and lively guests were present at that event.
    • January 6th, 2010: TAIDA received the visit of the Ambassador of Swaziland H.E. Njabuliso B. Gwebu and Swaziland business men.
    • January 10th, 2010: Chairman Hung represented TAIDA at Mr. Chen’s oldest son’s wedding. Mr. Chen is Staff member of Swaziland Embassady in Taiwan.
    • January 21, 2010: Lunch-Meeting with the South African Enterprise “Khula Enterprise Finance Ldt.”
    • January 22th, 2010: Burkina Faso Foreign Affairs Minister S.E.M Bedouma Alain YODA visit our member “Speed-Tech Company” in Taoyuan. The Chairman Mr. Hung and the Secretary-General Mr. Lin also attended that visit.
    • February 9th, 2010: Chairman Mr. Hung was invited by the Chairman of the Asia-Pacific CEO Association of Commerce and Industry to the top floor of the CITIC Tower Guest House for a lunch seminar. The Secretary-General of TAIDA, Mr. Lin and the Asia-Pacific CEO Association of Commerce and Industry-Deputy Executive Director of Philippine Mr. Amador HONRADO, Jr. also participated to that meeting.
    • February 11th, 2010: Chairman Mr. Hung received the invitation from the Ambassador of Sao Tome and Principe H.E Ambassador Jorge Amado for a lunch at Taipei Grand Hotel. They discussed about Exchange Cooperation.
    • February 23th, 2010: Chairman Mr. Hung represented TAIDA at the New Year Dinner Party organized by the Chairman of Wintak Petroleum and Petrochemical Group and Year Sun Terminal Chemitanks Terminal Corp. Mr. Chiu.
    • February 26th 2010: In the afternoon, the Chairman Mr. Hung represented TAIDA at Dominican Republic Independence Day Reception at San Want Hotel. In order to congratulate them, Mr. Hung also presented a basket of flowers.
    • February 26th, 2010: In the evening, Mr. Hung attended the New Year Dinner Party organized by the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises R.O.C. The President of the Association and many other Departments’ Head were present at this Banquet of 75 tables.
    • March 3rd, 2010: The Chairman, Mr. Hung represented TAIDA at Ms Huang Mother’s funeral Ceremony in Tainan. Mr. Hung, on behalf of TAIDA, expressed his sorrow and sympathy with wreaths of flowers.
    • March 8th, 2010: The Chairman, Mr. Hung, is invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Affairs to give a speech about Taiwan Economic Development at CYCDA for 40 people of SEDA (Small Enterprise Development Agency).
    • March 10th, 2010: At 1:30 pm, Chairman Hung attended the National Chinese New Year Gathering at Howard Plaza Hotel. He was invited by six national majors companies.
    • March 10th, 2010: In the evening, at 6:30 pm, Chairman Hung attended the New Year Reception organized by the Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association to honor the officials of the countries partners of Taiwan. The Secretary-General Mr. Lin and the Vice-Chairman Mr. Wang were also present at that event.
    • March 15th, 2010: the Chairman Mr. Hung and Mr. Terence Chiu had a meeting with the Ambassador of Sao Tome and Principe in order to discuss of the feasibility of Mr. Chiu to become the Honorary Consul.
    • March 15th, 2010: Visit of the Representative of Swaziland Investment Promotion Authority (SIPA), Mr. Zizwe Paul Vilane and the Executive Secretary of the Embassady of Swaziland in Taiwan, Mr. Hezekiel M. Dube in order to discuss cooperations (visit southern factories)
    •  March 16th to March 19th, 2010: TAIDA and ATEF commonly invited SIPA to visit ten factories of the Southern and Northern part of Taiwan.
    • March 27th, 2010: Chairman Mr. Hung and Secretary-General Mr. Lin attended Mr. Lucas Chiu eldest son’s wedding; Mr. Chiu is the General Manager of Speed-Tech Company. To express their congratulations, Mr. Hung and Mr. Lin offered flowers to the newlyweds.
    • March 29th, 2010: TAIDA received the visit of the Ambassador of Burkina Faso, H.E Jacques Y. SAWADOGO. During the meeting, they discussed about the planned visit of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Burkina Faso in Taiwan.
    • March 29th, 2010: TAIDA received the visit of the Ambassador of Sao Tome and Principe, H.E Jorge Amado.
    • April 2nd, 2010: TAIDA organized seminars for 15 people of Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce and Industry; the Ambassador of Burkina Faso, the Chairman of Tatung Group Mr. Lin, the Manager of Green Energy Technology Mr. Howard Shih, the Head of the Foreign Trade Association in Burkina Faso Mr. Nicolas Lee, and many other competent personalities involved in trade agreements attended this seminar.
    • April 3rd, 2010: TAIDA divided Burkina Faso Chamber of Commerce and Industry delegation members into two groups in order to visit the set of Speed-Tech Company and Radiant Foods Co.,Ltd., Yu Pin Syuan Co., Freser International Corp. For lunch, TAIDA invited them to eat fishery products from Yu Pin Syuan Co.
    • April 12th, 2010: The Chairman Mr. Mike Hung received the visit of the Nigerian Presidential Advisor Prince Ebuta O. Ayuk and Sir Emmanuel Ukobere. They planned to visit the Speed-Tech Company on the following day.
    • April 14th, 2010: Chairman Mr. Hung was invited to attend the Paraguay Investment Seminar and the Dinner organized by the Malaysian Motorcycle Manufacturers exhibitors in Taiwan.
    • April 19th, 2010: The Chairman, Mr. Mike Hung, attended the dinner organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to honour the Libyan Foreign Investment Delegation headed by Dr. Mohamed Gebri, Mr. Said m. Hoderi. Chairman Hung was invited to give a speech during that event.
    • April 27th, 2010: Chairman Mr. Hung and Secretary-General Mr. Lin attended South Africa Freedom Day Celebration Dinner at Far Eastern Hotel. Mr. Hung and Mr. Lin congratulated the officials of South Africa by offering two baskets of flowers.
    • May 3rd, 2010: Chairman Hung received the visit Professor Chien and Research Students of National Taiwan University. Their researches are based on the business and living standard of African Students and African business men in Taiwan.
    • May 6th, 2010:  The Prime Minister of Burkina Faso H.E Tertius Zongo, along with fourteen people of his administration visited the Speed-Tech Company. The Chairman Mr. Mike Hung, the Secretary-General Mr. Lin, the Head of Chinese International Economic Cooperation Association Ms. Iris Tseng, and Ms. Muse also attended that visit.
    • May 7th, 2010: The Chairman, Mr. Hung visited the Ambassador of Sao Tome and Principe before he left for Sao Tome in order to participate to the parliament elections of his country.
    • May 18th, 2010: Mr. Hung attended a meeting organized by Leader Public Relations Co., Ltd. for a pre-talk organizing of the Africa Week.
    • May 20th, 2010: TAIDA received the visit of the Prince of Swaziland, His Royal Highness Prince Hlangusemphi Dlamini, the Minister of Trade and Industry of Swaziland H.E Jabulile Mashwama, the Minister of Information H.E Nelisiwe Shongwe. The Amassador of Taiwan in Swaziland H.E Ming-Yan Tsai, the Ambassador of Swaziland in Taiwan H.E. Njabuliso B. GWEBU were also involved in that visit.
    • May 21th, 2010: Chairman Hung, the President of Saduh Industries Co.,Ltd Ms. Elsie Chen, and the Minister of Trade and Industry of Swaziland H.E. Jabulile Mashwama met at Grand Formosa Regent to discuss about the proposals of future investment and the difficulties encountered. The officials of Swaziland Board Investment also attended this meeting.
    • May 25th, 2010: The Chairman, Mr. Mike hung, along with a board of six people attended the opening ceremony of African Week.
    • May 29th and May 30th, 2010: TAIDA was represented at the African Festival, where there were five booths with various exhibitions of African products and commodities, including access to the exchange of African films, photos, artifacts, African clothing, African drums, African dance, African food, African commodities; there was also a live graffiti competition and 300 gifts were donated.
    • June 1st, 2010: Visit of the Delegation of Congo D.R.C for investment and cooperation business talks.
    • June 4th, 2010: Visit of African background movies film Producers. They had a presentation about African films, including photos of African Series.
    • June 9th, 2010: Mr. Hung met with Ghana-Team of National Tsing-Hua University, a Spanish NGO interested in African Culture. During the meeting, they discussed about cooperation and assistance to Ghana; Mr. Hung, on the behalf of TAIDA promised to donate T-shirts, flags, hats.
    • June 15th, 2010: Representative of South-Africa Mr. Nicolaas Sauer Schoombie, Deputy Representative Ms. C.A du Toit had a meeting with TAIDA Chairman Mr. Hung and Secretary-General Mr. Lin, and Ms. Tsai Sha Lin, to discuss about cooperation issues.
    • June 22th, 2010: TAIDA received the visit of Palau Agent Mr. Marvin T. Ngirutang and Executive Secretary Louise Ho; Chairman Hung has welcomed them, and gave a presentation about TAIDA.
    • June 22th, 2010: At 3:00 in the afternoon, Chairman Hung attended a meeting at grand Formosa Regent with Swaziland Foreign Minister H.E Lutfo Ephraim Dlamini. They discussed about issues related to the investments in Swaziland. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Hung escorted the Foreign Minister and his wife, and five other members of the delegation to the airport.
    • July 26th, 2010: the Director of Foreign Affairs Ministry invited Mr. Hung to attend the  Welcome Ceremony in honor of the Representative of the Republic of Swaziland.
    • July 27th, 2010: TAIDA organized the “Seminar of Business Opportunity of Taiwan, R.O.C.- Kingdom of Swaziland). A total of sixty business leaders from Taiwan participate to that seminar. 
    • July 28th, 2010: TAIDAI, headed by Mr. Hung visited a dozen different industries, factories and discussed about exchange opportunities
    • July 29th, 2010: Mrs. Hung is invited by President Ma to participate to the feast organized in honor of the King of Swaziland, H.M. Mswati III, at the third floor Auditorium of the Presidential Office. .
    • July 30th, 2010: Mr. Mike Hung attended “Trade and Investment Opportunities Seminar” at the Grand Hyatt Hotel.
